I would think that the subtitle services may have an option for that, but did not see any such setting in Kodi. In the settings of the player I set audio language to french, for subtitles I chose only forced subtitles to get the subtitles when they speak a foreign language different than the audio track I’m listening or to translate some foreign texts on the screen. What I want of course is no subtitles during the English scenes, and only subtitles during the foreign language scenes. Hello, I have a problem with forced subtitles and I don’t know how to solve that. Disable subtitles, and then Set as default. select the settings icon (two gears in my skin as in the pic below). When I turned subtitles on, then I had subtitles all the time, both during English and foreign scenes. Dont select the subtitle icon (The little speech bubble icon in the pic) - this will only bring up a limited control menu. With subtitles turned off (from the playback OSD for example) I had no subtitles at all, during the English scenes or foreign scenes. ![]() Is there a way to do this?
